This Data Deletion Policy explains how users can request the deletion of their personal data collected through our application, including data associated with Facebook Login.

You can request deletion of your data through any of the following methods:

- Account Settings: Log into your account and navigate to Settings > Privacy > Delete Account
- Facebook App Settings: Go to Facebook Settings > Apps and Websites > Legali > Remove

When submitting a deletion request, please include:
- Your full name
- The email address associated with your account
- Your Facebook user ID (if you signed up using Facebook Login)
- Any additional information that will help us identify your account
We will process your data deletion request according to the following timeline:
- Acknowledgment: We will acknowledge receipt of your request within 2 business days
- Verification: We may need up to 5 business days to verify your identity and ownership of the account
- Deletion: Once verified, we will complete the deletion process within 30 days
- Confirmation: You will receive a confirmation email once the deletion is complete
Please note that during this period, your account will be deactivated and inaccessible to prevent any new data from being created.
While we strive to delete all your data, certain information may be retained for the following reasons:
- Legal Obligations: Data required to comply with legal, tax, or regulatory requirements (typically retained for 7 years)
- Fraud Prevention: Information necessary for fraud detection, security, and abuse prevention
- Business Records: Anonymized or aggregated data used for analytics that cannot be linked back to you
- Pending Transactions: Data related to incomplete transactions or pending legal matters
- Backup Systems: Data in backup systems will be deleted during the next scheduled purge cycle (within 90 days)
Any retained data will be kept secure and will not be used for any other purpose than the specific reason for its retention.
Please be aware that deleting your data will result in:
- Permanent account closure - You will no longer be able to access your account
- Loss of all services - You will lose access to all features and services
- Irreversible action - Once deleted, your data cannot be recovered
- New account required - If you wish to use our services again, you will need to create a new account
